PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) has been used in the medical field for years and have rapidly gained popularity in the beauty industry. During PRP treatment, blood is drawn and then run through a centrifuge, which concentrates platelets within the plasma, creating PRP. This is then applied to the skin which stimulates cellular tissue regeneration to dramatically accelerate healing.

Your face will be cleansed, and topical anesthetic will be applied. A small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm while your face is numbing. The most important thing to do prior to your PRP treatment is to come off any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), Naprosyn (Aleve) and Diclofenac at least 1 week prior to the procedure as they effect the platelets function.
